Show Some Love Long Beach!
2ND & PCH partnered with Leadership Long Beach to create a conversation heart wall painted by local #LongBeach artist Andrea James affiliated with POWWOW! Long Beach. The hand-painted acrylic hearts were sold to Leadership Long Beach Alumni and the greater community raising $2,000 to benefit two local non-profit organizations – Precious Lamb Preschool, supporting local homeless families with children, and Leadership Long Beach, creating and cultivating community-driven programs.
“We all come from different backgrounds and ethnicities,” James said. “We made it into a celebration of Long Beach. [The city] is full of different colors, shapes, and sizes.”
We look forward to continuing to uplift and support our local community in more creative ways like this.
