2ND & PCH Was Honored To Serve Our Community This 2022 Holiday Season.
2ND & PCH was honored to serve our community this 2022 holiday season. From custom décor found throughout the center to holiday events, we treasured watching our community make memories with us. The center provided the community a place to gather with family and friends for shopping, dining, lifestyle services, and holiday magic for all!
The holiday season officially began with the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 16th. Attendees gathered to witness the 46.5-foot live White Fir tree illuminate the Long Beach sky. Santa arrived on a fire truck, courtesy of the Long Beach Fire Department, Engine 8, and activities included complimentary crafts, meet and greets, and tons of fun along Seaport Way.
Santa Claus made regular visits to the center for photos with guests as part of “Selfies with Santa.”
Paws & Claus was a paw-pular event where visitors and their furry friends came dressed in their holiday best to take selfies with Santa.
Over 200 “Letters to Santa” were dropped off at Santa’s mailbox. Santa and his elves were able to respond to 88 letters which included a legible return address.
Back by popular demand, the center was thrilled to welcome the community back for “Breakfast with Santa” hosted by Active Culture – Natural Foods Cafe and Noble Bird Rotisserie. Both dates were sold out. Attendees arrived to enjoy a breakfast to remember with special guests Santa and holiday friends.
Silent Santa was a magical experience welcoming visitors of all ages with sensory sensitivities to dedicated one-on-one time with Santa.
It took a village to bring the magic to life this season. A special thanks for the amazing partnership of several non-profit organizations: Able ARTS Work, Dream City Church of Long Beach, Precious Lamb Preschool of Long Beach, and Tichenor Clinic for Children of Long Beach.
